About 45 minutes west of Millsboro on Route 13, right at the Delaware–Maryland line. We bundle Delmar with Laurel and Seaford on the same westward trip.
A state-line farm town, not a beach one
Delmar is Route 13 farm country through and through, closer in character to Laurel and Bridgeville than to anywhere on the coast: field dust, work trucks, and daily drivers that see plenty of dirt roads and none of the salt spray the beach towns deal with. Sitting right on the state line, we get calls from both the Delaware and Maryland sides of town, though for now we are only listing our Delaware service area here. It is far enough out that we plan it alongside Laurel and Seaford rather than as its own special trip.
